FAQ

We at Bayern receive hundreds of emails every day. To help you find the information you want quickly and easily, the Bayern online team has compiled this list of the most frequently asked questions and answers. Emails on any of the subjects listed below will not be answered by separate mail.

Signing up

  • If you have an existing account with a user name please log on at the registration page for the new FC Bayern Online World by entering your user name and password. After that you can log on using your email address and password.

    If you have just registered at the new FC Bayern Online World, the problem could be due to a typing error, or you may have not yet activated your account. On registering you will receive an email with an activation link. You need to click on that to access a login page.

    Please register again if the activation link doesn’t work or you have not received the activation email.

    If you do not receive an email or are unable to activate the account after reregistering please contact us at webmaster@fcbayern.de or call our service team on 0049 (0)89 699 31 3131, Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 12.00 and 13.00 to 17.00 (Central European Time).

  • If you have an existing account with a user name please request your new password using your existing user name. You will receive an email with a link that allows you to choose a new password. After it has been saved you can log on using your user name and your new password.

    If you have just registered with the new FC Bayern Online World please enter your email address in the ‘Forgotten password’ field. If you do not receive an email from us it could be due to a typing error, or you may have not yet activated your account. On registering you will receive an email containing the activation link. You need to click on it to access a login page. Please register again if the activation link does not work or you have not received the activation email.

    If you’re still having problems obtaining a new password please contact us at webmaster@fcbayern.de or call our service team on 0049 (0)89 699 31 3131 from Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 12.00 and 13.00 to 17.00 (Central European Time).

  • Following the changes to the FC Bayern profile only one profile is available per email address. If you had several access options using a single email address you can either merge all access options to one profile or allocate a dedicated email address to each of the access options. This process will be initiated as soon as you log on with your user name and password.

  • An activation email has been sent to your new email address. You can only log on using your new email address and password when you have clicked on the activation link. If you have not received an activation link please contact us at webmaster@fcbayern.de or call our service team on 0049 (0)89 699 31 3131, Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 12.00 and 13.00 to 17.00 (Central European Time).

Autograph cards

  • Signed autographs by our players and officials must be requested exclusively by post. Please include a stamped and self-addressed envelope and address your request to:

    Depending on the number of autograph cards you request, you must include an envelope of the following size. For requests within Germany:

    • up to 4 autograph cards € 0,58 DIN C6 long
    • up to 8 autograph cards € 0,90 DIN C6 long
    • complete set (subject to availability) € 1,45 DIN C5

  • As the number of requests we receive is fairly high (a few thousand a day) long delays will have to be taken into account (up to six months) when submitting your request.

    Naturally, our aim is to fulfil as many requests for autograph cards as possible, so we'd ask fans not to submit multiple requests within a single season. We will supply one autograph card per player, per fan and per season.

    Please don't send us photos, newspaper cuttings, replica shirts, T-shirts etc. hoping to have them signed. Unfortunately, the players simply don't have the time to fulfil these requests. There can be no excetions to this rule, as we wish to be fair to all our fans.

  • If you would like to receive autograph cards signed by the players please note that request on your order. Please bear with us in the event of long waiting times and incomplete autograph card sets.

    FC Bayern also has autograph cards with printed signatures. These requests will be processed and dispatched without delay. This service is free of charge with the exception of postage costs.

Fan clubs

  • Information on setting up a fan club is available HERE.

  • You can find all FC Bayern fan clubs worldwide HERE. You can use the search facility to look for fan clubs in your area.

FCB.tv

  • FCB.tv is the online TV channel at FC Bayern featuring exclusive videos on everything to do with FC Bayern. Subscribers can watch all FCB’s games and goals here plus exclusive interviews and background reports. There are also regular live broadcasts (e.g. friendlies, training sessions, press conferences, online discussions). Competitive matches are also covered live on our Web Radio service. On top of that we provide a wide range of offers via individual FC Bayern webmail addresses and competitions.

  • 1. Install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player:

    • Remove any older versions you have installed on your computer. You will need the Adobe Application Manager, which you can download HERE. Follow the instructions from Adobe to uninstall the older versions.

    • Download the latest version of Flash Player HERE and start the installation. Follow the on-screen instructions.

    2. Temporarily deactivate the pop-up blocker on your computer.

    3. Add FCB.tv to your firewall software as a trusted website.

    4. Ensure that other applications such as Quicktime, iTunes, Real Player or Windows Media Player are not set as the default application for streaming as that can also affect the video player.

    5. For users of Windows Vista: If the uninstallation/reinstallation of Flash Player does not work properly this could possibly be due to problems with your access rights to Microsoft Windows Vista.

    Click on the Windows button to the bottom left of the screen and use the search function:

    • Go to C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\
    • Right click on the following file: FlashUtil9b.exe or FlashUtil9e.exe
    • Choose the Run as administrator option and install the update.
    • Restart your computer.

    6. Make sure the ActiveX and cookies options are activated in the browser settings. Both options have to be activated in the Options input field on Internet Explorer.

    7. The security setting in Internet Explorer (under > Extras > Internet options) has to be set to Medium (standard setting) so that the functions needed to replay the stream such as ActiveX and cookies are supported by the browser.

    8. We recommend using a DSL connection to play the video streams.

    9. The video streams on FCB.tv have a very large bandwidth. To guarantee trouble-free playback we recommend not running other programs (Outlook, file sharing programs etc.) at the same time. If you use Windows Vista, Windows XP or Windows 2000 you should always install the latest program updates. You should also ensure that the FCB.tv site is not blocked by any firewall, webwasher or anti-virus programs.

  • Once again it is worth bearing in mind that FCB.tv video streams use a very large bandwidth. With sound problems - as with playback problems - always make sure you are not running other programs at the same time if possible. If you are using Windows Vista, Windows XP or Windows 2000 you should always install the latest program updates. Make sure your browser allows cookies and that no firewall, webwasher or anti-virus programs are blocking content on FCB.tv. Also ensure the sound problems are not caused by your sound card.

  • Yes. All the videos on FCB.tv can run on any platform and will play on MACs/tablets/smartphones.

  • Yes. All videos on FCB.tv can run on any platform and will play on all current devices.

  • The Web Radio commentary is only on during games and accordingly can only be tested and used during games.

  • Please visit the website www.fcb.tv and click Sign up. Then follow the instructions. When the registration is complete an activation code and a link (https://xyz.-...=activation) will be sent to the email address you have supplied. You can now activate your account.

    Please make sure to use just your user name and the password you have chosen when logging in to our website – DON'T USE THE ACTIVATION CODE!

    Did you not receive an activation code?
    There may be a number of reasons for this:

    • You may have made a typing error when entering your email address, or the security settings of your email software may be set so high that email from FC Bayern Munich is considered spam.
    • Please check this. If you cannot find the reason send your user name and the correct email address to fcbtv@fcbayern.de so we can send you a new activation code.

    Are you unable to log in after successfully activating your account?
    Please make sure that you log in using your user name and password – don't use the activation code. The system cannot detect typos! If you cannot log in despite your data being correct please send us your user name via email (fcbtv@fcbayern.de), so we can check your account status.

    Have you forgotten your user name or password?
    If you have just forgotten your password please tell us your user name by email at fcbtv@fcbayern.de. We will check your account and send you the secret question you selected when you registered. After you’ve answered it we can reset your account and send you a standard password that you can change later.

    If you have forgotten your user name please tell us the email address you supplied when you registered so we can check your information. We are unable to use your password for system scans due to privacy protection legislation.

    How can I change the contract duration or my payment method?
    To change the duration of your contract and the payment method please log in to FCB.tv using your user name and your password. Under the My account menu item you can change your master data (including the duration of your contract and the payment method). Please note that the new contract period and the new payment method will only become effective after expiration of your current contract. You are also required to re-activate your account after these modifications.

Membership

  • Just fill out the online membership application form

    You can also advise us if your address via email (see the feedback form) and we will send you the documents you need to become a member by post.

Miscellaneous

  • Public training sessions are usually held at the FC Bayern premises at the Säbener Strasse facility several times a week. The exact hours for the following week are usually issued on Sundays. They can be found at www.fcbayern.de.

    Please note that training times may be subject to change at short notice. Unfortunately, long-term planning of the training schedule is not possible. There is no charge for admission to public sessions.
