Munich wary of Lyon juggernaut

A year and a half has passed since Bayern fell 2-0 at home to AC Milan in a Champions League quarter-final second leg. Europe’s top club competition finally returns to the Allianz Arena on Tuesday. “We made the best possible start in the Champions League, so we’re really looking forward to this match,” commented Jürgen Klinsmann prior to the clash with serial French champions Olympique Lyon (Live in English from 8.30 pm CET on Web Radio).

Bayern opened their European campaign with a 1-0 victory in Bucharest, and now go in search of the second victory which would represent a giant stride towards the knockout stages. “We want to keep up our momentum, so we’ll play to win,” Klinsmann said. “It’s a chance to send out a signal,” argued Philipp Lahm.
