Juve fired up for Italian night in Munich

Dovetailing nicely with Italian weekend at the Oktoberfest, it is now Italian night at the Allianz Arena, when Turin giants Juventus face Bayern on Wednesday. Italy’s most successful club will be cheered on by several thousand tifosi at the stadium. “It’s another great argument for us to deliver the goods,” Juve star Alessandro Del Piero declared ahead of his club’s pre-match training session.

The side lying second in Serie A arrived in Munich on Tuesday afternoon. Juve have yet to lose this term, and coach Ciro Ferrara’s men are keen to continue their run against Bayern. “It won’t be easy for us, but it won’t be easy for Bayern either. We’re incredibly motivated. We’ll do all we can to win,” the 42-year-old Bianconeri coach stated: “I think it’ll be a spectacular evening.”
