Franck Ribéry is back in the matchday squad and confidence levels are soaring as Bayern travel to Werder Bremen determined to extend their winning streak. “We’re not top, so we have to continue our run,” director of sport Christian Nerlinger declared ahead of the 88th meeting between the northern and southern arch-rivals at the Weserstadion in Bremen on Saturday (Live in English from 3.15 pm CET on Web Radio).

“We’re on a very good run at the moment, and we intend to continue our good form in Bremen,” confirmed Louis van Gaal. FCB have won their last five in the Bundesliga, and are now undefeated in eleven league games. In winning their last seven matches in all competitions, Van Gaal’s men have scored 22 goals. “We’re in good shape, and we’re in a position to win in Bremen,” keeper Jörg Butt confidently stated.
