Bayern target first away win of 2012

The Allianz Arena is a fortress, but Bayern are now determined to return to winning ways on the road and bring to an end an unwanted run of four winless away fixtures. In the trip to Berlin to face Hertha BSC on Saturday evening (Live in English from 6.15 pm CET on Web Radio), FCB are committed to taking three points on the road for the first time since the mid-season break.

“At home, we're playing the way we want to, but we have to start doing it away from home as well," urged striker Mario Gomez, who has seven goals to his name from the last two matches. “I hope we've realised that we have to be playing the same football away from home as we do at home. I have a good feeling about Berlin," a confident Holger Badstuber commented.

“The second half of the season has been a rollercoaster ride, especially away from home. We have to work on this," said director of sport Christian Nerlinger. The thumping home victories against Hoffenheim (7-1) and Basel (7-0) indicated “the potential in this team. I think we're absolutely on course again now," continued Nerlinger.
