On Thursday lunchtime, just two days ahead of the biggest match of the season, it wasn't possible to ignore the fact that Arjen Robben has a cold. The Dutchman's voice was hoarse and he coughed from time to time when he took reporters’ questions at the daily press conference. But the player had good news for Bayern fans: “Provided I don't have a 40 degree fever on Saturday, I'll play – that's for certain!"
The winger pursued an individual training programme from Monday to Wednesday, “because I needed to take care of myself and conserve energy," he reported. He is already feeling much better, and rejoined the team for the first 40 minutes of Thursday's workout. “And I'm feeling good," he said.
