And so they did, pleasing their coach: “I’m very happy with the performance of my team,“ Pep Guardiola declared.

Reaction to CSKA Moscow v Bayern:

Pep Guardiola: “I’m proud of my team and I’m happy for the club. Winning ten games in a row is no easy feat in Europe. The pitch was in bad shape, it was dangerous and difficult. The team adjusted very well. The team showed character, and I’m very happy with their performance.”

Arjen Robben: “It was a hard match and the pitch was in bad condition, but we’re pros and have to make the best of it. We won 3-1, which is very good. It’s an amazing achievement, winning ten games in a row in Europe, we  can be proud of ourselves. But we aren't playing to break records, we’re playing to win titles. We are a superb team, and I am very proud to be part of it.”
