The final round of international fixtures for 2014 takes place over the next week, and as always a host of FC Bayern players have been called up to represent their countries in the search for Euro 2016 qualifying points. The programme also includes a number of friendlies, although it is unlikely that all the Munich stars will feature in the warm-up games. fcbayern.de summarises the schedule from an FCB point of view.
Manuel Neuer, Thomas Müller, Mario Götze and Jérôme Boateng are in the Germany squad for the European championship qualifier against minnows Gibraltar in Nuremberg on 14 November. The world champions then travel to Vigo four days later for a friendly against Juan Bernat and Spain, the team Germany replaced as World Cup holders.
Robert Lewandowski and Poland also contest just a single qualifier, away to Georgia on 14 November. The Poles then take on Xherdan Shaqiri and Switzerland in a friendly in Wroclaw on 18 November.
Arjen Robben and his Netherlands team-mates also have one friendly and one qualifier on this occasion. The Dutch will be hoping to run into form against Mexico in Amsterdam on 12 November, before Latvia visit the same stadium in qualifying four days later.
Reigning European champions Spain and Bernat will also be looking for three more points in the quest for a place in France in 2016 when they entertain Belarus on 15 November in Huelva. The friendly against Germany in Vigo takes place three days later.
Shaqiri and the Swiss are desperate for points in Group E after winning only one of their three games so far. The next chance to improve their record is against Lithuania on 15 November in St Gallen, before the friendly meeting with Poland three days later.
By contrast, Bayern youngster Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Denmark have the opportunity to consolidate top spot in Group I - providing their beat Serbia in Belgrade on 14 November. The Danes then play a friendly against Romania in Bucharest four days later.
FCB centre-back Medhi Benatia is set to represent Morocco in two warm-up matches in the build-up to the African Cup of Nations in January 2015. Benin (13 November) and Zimbabwe (16 November) are the visitors to Agadir.
At youth level, three Bayern hopefuls are in action for the Germany U-19s. Coach Marcus Sorg has called up Gianluca Gaudino, Sinan Kurt and U-19 captain Marco Hingerl for an invitation tournament in Greece from 10 to 18 November. As well as the hosts, the other participants are Spain and France.
