Neuer in World XI for third time

Eleven FCB pros featured on the 55-strong shortlist for the FIFA FIFPro World XI 2015 honoured at the FIFA Ballon d'Or gala at Zurich Kongresshaus on Monday evening. However, only one Bayern star made the team of the year: keeper Manuel Neuer. It is the third time in a row that the three-time World's Best Goalkeeper finished among the eleven best players selected by football pros from all over the world. Pep Guardiola finished second behind Luis Enrique (Barcelona) and ahead of Jorge Sampaoli (Chile) in the race for the best coach award.

Royal visit

Many fans watch the FCB training sessions in Qatar on a daily basis. On Monday a special guest was among them: His Royal Highness Sheikha Bashayer Al Sabah of the Kuwaiti royal house was delighted to chat and have pictures taken with the Bayern pros.

Xavi and Zola meet Guardiola

Two more prominent visitors were at the training camp on Monday. Gianfranco Zola watched the morning session and subsequently talked to Pep Guardiola. The former Italy forward, who played for Chelsea from 1996 to 2003, is coach at the al-Arabi club in Doha. In the afternoon the Spanish world champion Xavi visited the team hotel. Pep Guardiola's former team-mate and player at FC Barcelona plays for the al-Sadd Sport Club in Doha.

FC Bayern and body + soul cooperate
