Philipp Lahm was as reliable as ever in the return against Benfica. The FCB skipper made his 103rd Champions League appearance on Wednesday evening, equalling Oliver Kahn's record for the most appearances in Europe's premier club competition by a German player. "It's nice that I'm still playing at this level," commented Lahm. Spanish keeper Iker Casillas is the international record holder, boasting 156 appearances.

Last four regular Guardiola

FC Bayern are through to the Champions League semi-finals for the tenth time, and Pep Guardiola for an outstanding seventh time as a coach. The Catalan has never coached a CL team without advancing to the last four at least. Only Jose Mourinho has coached teams to the semi-finals more often, eight times.

Personal record for Müller

On Wednesday evening Thomas Müller scored his eighth goal so far in the current Champions League campaign. He only scored as many goals in the 2012/13 treble season. After 42 competitive fixtures he is now on 29 goals this term, comfortably a new personal best.

Milestones for Lewy & Götze

Robert Lewandowski and Mario Götze were brought on shortly before the final whistle in the 2-2 draw in Lisbon. The Poland striker made his 50th Champions League appearance (31 goals), while the scorer of the winning goal in the 2014 World Cup final made his 50th European appearance and boasts 13 goals.
