Rummenigge on FIFA Stakeholder Committee

The FIFA Council has appointed Karl-Heinz Rummenigge to the Football Stakeholder Committee, FIFA President Gianni Infantino announced at the FIFA Congress in Mexico City on Friday evening. Former Côte d’Ivoire striker Didier Drogba will also be a member of the committee.

FC Bayern chairman Rummenigge has been appointed in his capacity as chairman of the European Club Association (ECA). The FIFA Council will from now on invite the 60-year-old to selected meetings. The Stakeholder Committee represents the interests of professional football.
