Gerd Müller special collection - Fundraising for Alzheimer's sufferers

In memory of Gerd Müller, FC Bayern has produced three special merchandise items to honour the most successful striker in the club's history. The initiative is also serving a good cause, as all proceeds from the sales will go towards helping Alzheimer's sufferers in Germany.

Fans can get the current home shirt with the five stars printed with the legendary number 9 and the name Gerd Müller on the back, with the number consisting of black and white images of the club icon’s historic moments. There’s also a specially created shirt as well as 365 copies – as a tribute to each of der Bomber’s Bundesliga goals – of a framed picture with famous, stylised moments in the striking legend’s career.

The special shirt printing will already be available at the home match against 1. FC Köln from the FC Bayern Store at the Allianz Arena, where the commemoration of Gerd Müller will be very much the focus. From Monday, you’ll be able to order it from all FC Bayern Stores, and it’s also available online from now. The shirt and the picture can likewise be ordered online from now.
