FC Bayern basketball made another off-season move to bolster the squad, signing Serbian national team player, Vasilije Micic. The 20-year-old playmaker is one of the most promising players in his position in Europe and signed a two-year contract with the reigning German champions.
Micic was selected 52nd overall in this year's NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers but wanted to continue his development with Bayern. "I am pleased to to be able to take the next step in my career at this special club," said Micic after his medical in Munich. "The Euroleague is also a great opportunity for me to prove myself. Coach Svetislav Pesic also knows me very well. He is one of the best coaches in Europe for young players, if not the best."
