FC Bayern play their fourth home match of the season this weekend against newly-promoted SC Sand at the Grünwalder stadium. For Bayern it is also a chance to continue their unbeaten start to the season and chase Wolfsburg in first place. Bayern picked up a huge win against Potsdam last week and with it moved into second place in the standings. SC Sand were unbeaten in the second division last year and will present FCB with a "skillful and tight defensive opponent that also has good offensive qualities," according to Wörle.
Wörle urges caution ahead of Saturday's match despite the team's good form: "We need to stay concentrated, patient and above all combine quickly to win our fourth home match." Bayern will still be without the injured Carina Wenninger, Sarah Romert and Lena Lotzen. This will be the first time these two sides meet, but for Bayern, three points will be a must.
The match will be streamed live on dfb-tv on Saturday, 5:45 am EST.
