FC Bayern Munich have signed European champion Sarah Dabritz for the 2015/16 season. The 19-year-old German international has signed a two-year contract until 2017 and will join FC Bayern from SC Freiburg at the end of the season.

Däbritz has represented Germany at various youth levels and made her senior debut in a friendly against Japan in Munich before the 2013 European Championship. She made two appearances during Germany's 2013 European Championship-winning campaign and was one of the standout performers of the U-20 World Cup-winning team in Canada last year. Since, she has continued to feature for the German national team. At club level with SC Freiburg she has scored 6 goals in 60 league appearances.

Coach Thomas Worle: Sarah is a very talented young and strong attacking player who has developed well at SC Freiburg. I'm excited that she wants to take the next step in her development at FC Bayern."

Sarah Dabritz (19): "I'm thankful to SC Freiburg and the team for my great time with them. Now I want to take the next step in my career and prove myself at a top team in the Bundesliga. That's why FC Bayern is the right club with the right direction for me. Both their concept and coach convince me of that. I'm excited for the new challenge and to be able to work with Thomas Wörle and his team. But before that, I want to do the best I can to help Freiburg have a successful second half of the season."
