FC Bayern Munich has signed Nicole Rolser (23). Rolser makes the move from Liverpool LFC in the English FA Women’s Super League to the German champions, signing a two-year contract through 2017.
The offensive player has many games under her belt with the German junior and national teams and has won consecutive English league titles with Liverpool in 2013 and 2014. Before making the move to England, Rolser played in the Bundesliga at SC Bad Neuenahr.
Nicole Rolser is the fourth addition to FC Bayern’s squad after signing Veronica Boquete, Sara Däbritz, and Lisa Evans in preparation for the challenges in the upcoming season.
Nicole Rolser: “After two and a half great and successful years at Liverpool FC I’m looking forward to returning to the Bundesliga. The move to FC Bayern Munich is a further step in my career. The team has proven how much potential it has after winning the Bundesliga this past season. I look forward to the challenge and would like to assimilate as quickly as possible.”
Coach Thomas Wörle: “Nicole is a fast and focused goal scorer with great determination. She’s already proven that in an impressive manner both in Germany as well as in Liverpool. Nicole fits in not only in terms of athletic ability but also in terms of character as well. I’m very happy she’s chosen FC Bayern Munich.”
