On MatchDay One, GolTV broadcast live Friday’s Bayern-Wolfsburg match, Saturday’s Schalke-Hannover and BvB-Baeyr Leverkusen matches, and Sunday’s doubleheader featuring Paderborn-Mainz and Gladbach-Stuttgart.  Additionally, GolTV replays these matchups during the week, along with a Bundesliga preview show and the Hallo Bundesliga production.  There is also a great deal of other quality football  available only on GolTV in the U.S. Scrolling through the network’s  programming schedule over the next weeks, GolTV provided feature matches from the top domestic leagues of Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, the Netherlands and Uruguay, along with weekly games from Mexico’s Liga Asensco. - See more at: http://bundesligafanatic.com/bundesliga-fanatic-exclusive-exciting-television-news/#sthash.Az73gq0N.dpuf
Beginning September 1st, a new licensing agreement between GolTV and KlowdTv of Alexandria, Virginia  went into effect that allows live- streaming of all GolTV programming, in English and Spanish, to desktop and mobile devices. KlowdTV will also have native Chromecast and AppleTV integration to allow you to watch Bundesliga on your TV with a simple click of a button!.  What this means for American-based fans of the Bundesliga is that they will be able once again to view live, legally licensed  GolTV content (along with that of other networks) and get their fix of Bayern, Borussia Dortmund, Schalke, Hamburg and the other Bundesliga clubs each matchday in HD quality for a cost similar to a Netflix subscription.  Also included in that price is top-level live MMA, sports news, and adventure sports. - See more at: http://bundesligafanatic.com/bundesliga-fanatic-exclusive-exciting-television-news/#sthash.Az73gq0N.dpuf

How did you become an FC Bayern fan & what made you start a fan club?

I’ve been a soccer fan since I was young.  Here in New England we had the Tea Men but they moved to Florida.  The closest team was the New York Cosmos, who had Beckenbauer on the team. Throughout my childhood and adolescence, however, I was an ardent FC Bayern fan, and that continues to this day. Now with the internet, live televised games, and more people getting into soccer in the U.S. today it has become so much easier to follow. I had always talked about it informally with people at the bars I watched the games at. However, involvement with other supporters groups here in Boston made me think of starting one officially.  As it turned out, in the 2013-2014 season the bar I was watching games at was the Real Madrid supporters’ bar.  With the help of some people from supporters groups for English clubs, I started an FC Bayern group.  It has grown from an initial four people to 18 officially registered members. It’s like a dream come true.

What is your favorite part about being involved with a fan club?

Getting to meet with new Bayern fans in the area.  Growing up the only American Bayern fan that I knew in the area, I was isolated in my support.  Now, being able to use social media to connect people more easily, I hope to not only benefit from that but to also become a facilitator in helping inspire new people to become Bayern fans and learn more about the club, from its current performances to its history and culture that really separates it from other clubs.

Do you have a favorite moment with the fan club?

Personally, my favorite moment was when I opened the letter that said we were official… especially since I was working on a trivia event at the time and had been researching Raimond Aumann, and there his name and signature were on it. As a club, it’s probably a toss-up between the 7-1 Roma match, which at the time the 6 people for our 3rd gathering was our highest-attended event, and the 7-0 win vs Donetsk, which to date is our highest-attended game.  The 1-0 win over Manchester City also helped us start the club, in discussions during the celebration of the victory.
