FC Bayern's Gina Lewandowski made her senior US women's national team debut this weekend in the team's 3-1 victory against Brazil at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando. The 30-year-old defender came on in the 74th minute for team veteran Ali Krieger (a former teammate at 1. FFC Frankfurt when they won the UEFA Champions League back in 2008).

The recently-crowned world champions put on a show in front of 32,869 spectators as part of their "Victory Tour" with goals from Alex Morgan, Crystal Dunn and Stephanie McCaffrey. The win continued an impressive unbeaten run at home that spans 102 games, the last loss coming against Denmark in 2004. Four games remain on the team's Victory Tour this year, which gives Lewandowski plenty of chances to solidify her spot on the team.
