With two days to go until the Bundesliga home game against Bayer Leverkusen, FC Bayern's squad is filling up again. Manuel Neuer, Arjen Robben and Javi Martínez resumed full training with the team on Thursday. While Robben and Neuer will be available on Saturday evening, Carlo Ancelotti will wait until the final training session on Friday before making a decision on Martínez. "The situation is improving," commented Ancelotti after the session. "We are all working together to get a good result against Leverkusen." Arturo Vidal is also close to returning; the Chilean has been training individually in the performance centre.
Maier to miss international
The German women's national team will be without Leonie Maier for their game against Norway in Chemnitz next Tuesday. The 24 year-old Bayern player has withdrawn from the squad for the final international before the winter break due to illness.
