FC Bayern have been handed a home tie against 1. FC Heidenheim in the DFB Cup last eight. The draw was made at the German Football Museum on Sunday evening. Germany handball international Fabian Böhm picked the names out under the auspices of Germany women coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg to set up the meeting between the record cup winners and the second division side.
FC Bayern have downed the two fourth-tier sides Rödinghausen and SV Drochtersen/Assel before eliminating Hertha Berlin. Heidenheim have beaten Jeddeloh, Sandhausen and Bayer Leverkusen so far.
