Philippe Coutinho and Brazil were held to a 1-1 draw by Senegal on Thursday. The 27-year-old started the international friendly at the National Stadium in Singapore and played the first 72 minutes. Liverpool's Roberto Firmino opened the scoring for the Selecao after nine minutes, but Famara Diédhiou (45) levelled for the Africans from the spot on the stroke of half time.
Cuisance wins with France U20
Michaël Cuisance enjoyed a more successful evening, as the midfielder and the France U20 team defeated their Norwegian counterparts 2-1. Like his fellow Bayern man, Cuisance started the game and played the first 63 minutes. Eric Dina Ebimbe (4) handed France an early lead, with Strand Larsen (25) missing a gilt-edged chance to equalise from the spot. Thody-Elie Youan doubled the lead (66), and although Markus Solbakken (90+1) pulled one back in stoppage time, it was merely a consolation for the Scandinavians.
