Leon Goretzka will remember this goal for a long time to come. The midfielder opened the scoring in Bayern's 6-0 Champions League success at Red Star Belgrade with a textbook header, his first goal in Europe's elite club competition. "It's finally come off and I'm very happy about it," said Goretzka after the match.

The Bayern fans also enjoyed the goal and voted the 24-year-old as the Goal of the Month winner for the first time. Goretzka follows on from his namesake Leon Dajaku, who claimed the prize in October. The Germany international received 33% of the votes, with Robert Lewandowski in second place (27%) and Oliver Batista-Meier in third (25%). Congratulations, Leon Goretzka!
