It was bienvenue to the world champions at the FC Bayern Campus on Wednesday. On the day after the EURO 2020 match between France and Germany in Munich, the Equipe Tricolore including Bayern quartet Lucas Hernández, Benjamin Pavard, Kingsley Coman and Corentin Tolisso – held a training session at the campus on Ingolstädter Straße.

The Campus is an official ‘Travel Team Training Centre’ for EURO 2020. The teams in Group F are allowed to have one session there on the day after each of their matches at the Allianz Arena, with the French using the FCB facility for a recovery session for the starting players and training for the substitutes.

The French were in high spirits following the opening win against Germany. Barcelona’s Antoine Griezmann temporarily filled in as goalkeeper, while Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappé demonstrated his basketball skills. The squad then moved on to Budapest in the afternoon, the venue for their second group game against Hungary on Saturday (9 am ET). They’ll be hoping the preparations at the FC Bayern Campus will help to bag another three points.
