FC Bayern Fan AI-DEATION
AI is becoming increasingly present in our world – and it is also opening up new opportunities for FC Bayern. The heart of this club will always beat on the pitch, in the community and in the special, authentic moments we share with our fans – and that will not change in the future. At the same time, tradition and innovation are not at odds with each other at FC Bayern. That is why we want to work with you to consider how we can use AI responsibly to make your fan experience even better, more personal and more innovative. Your active participation and your thoughts are especially important to us when it comes to this topic – because it is always about experiencing FC Bayern together.
That is why, this season, FC Bayern is launching the AI ideas competition FC Bayern Fan AI-DEATION together with Google Gemini for the first time. As fans, you are invited to actively help shape the club’s digital future. The key question is how artificial intelligence (AI) can make the digital and physical “FC Bayern experience” even more personal or sustainable for all fans. As FC Bayern’s official Consumer AI Partner, Google is supporting FC Bayern Fan AI-DEATION with its AI assistant Google Gemini, as well as its expertise and technology. In addition, the initiative is being supported in terms of content by UnternehmerTUM, Europe’s leading center for entrepreneurship and innovation at TUM. The winner will receive the unique opportunity to enjoy a Champions League home match featuring FC Bayern in Munich with VIP tickets, as well as the new Google Pixel 11 smartphone.
Do you have a strong concept for personalized AI-powered products, a new feature for the FC Bayern app or a fresh idea for the stadium experience at the Allianz Arena? These are just three of the many ways in which you can inspire FC Bayern with your ideas. Take part and send us your ideas by 16 November 2026 to become part of this special initiative. It does not matter whether you have already developed a finished prototype or are starting out with a conceptual outline. What matters is that your idea offers tangible added value for fans or FC Bayern and could, in principle, be implemented. The finalists will have the opportunity to discuss their ideas in digital pitches with experts from FC Bayern and Google and refine them using Google Gemini technology. Participants with the best ideas will then have the chance to pitch them to a jury at the Allianz Arena.
We are looking for innovative and practical ideas, particularly for:
Digital Fan Experience
Exploring new avenues using AI to enhance the in-app experience, email communication and community building.
Content & Storytelling
AI-powered ideas for personalised content, new content formats and emotional experiences.
Stadium Experience
AI solutions for the stadium, second-screen features or smart operations.
Merchandising
Innovative AI concepts for personalised products, intelligent product range planning and a seamless omnichannel shopping experience.
Ticketing
AI-powered solutions for ticket purchasing, an optimised customer journey or dynamic capacity management.
Other topics
Proposals outside these areas may also be submitted, provided they are relevant to FC Bayern.
We would also like to hear your thoughts and feedback on how FC Bayern should use AI responsibly in the future. The club will take your input into account as fully as possible in all future considerations and steps relating to AI. Please send your feedback to: fan-aideation@fcbayern.com

The competition process

This is how the FC Bayern Fan AI-DEATION works
1. Submit your idea
Submit your idea on your own or together with others via the participation page. You can apply as an individual or as a team of up to three people.
2. Selection of the best ideas
FC Bayern will review all submissions and select the best ideas for the next round. The selection criteria are: relevance to FC Bayern and its fans, level of innovation and creativity, feasibility and usefulness, as well as clarity and quality of the presentation.
3. Digital pitch
The selected participants or teams will present their ideas in a digital pitch.
4. Preparation for the final
The finalists will have the opportunity to discuss any outstanding questions with FC Bayern experts in advance and prepare their ideas specifically for the final presentation. In addition, the finalists will be provided with Google technology, which they can use to finalize their ideas with Google Gemini.
5. Co-creation event at the Allianz Arena
For the final co-creation event, FC Bayern will invite all finalists to attend the home match on Matchday 20 of the Bundesliga season in February, where they will be able to watch the game together. On the second day, depending on the fixture schedule, the co-creation event will take place in the press conference area directly at the Allianz Arena from approximately 10:00 to 17:00. Together with FC Bayern employees and other experts, you will finalize your ideas using Google Gemini and prepare a pitch presentation, which you will present to a jury in the afternoon. The winning team will be announced afterwards. Following the event, the winning idea will be evaluated together with FC Bayern to determine its feasibility.
What you could win
All participants invited to the co-creation event will receive:
- an invitation to an FC Bayern Bundesliga home match on the same weekend,
- travel costs to and from the event covered by FC Bayern,
- the cost of one night’s accommodation per person covered,
- an FC Bayern jersey.
Following the jury’s decision, the winning team will receive tickets to a Champions League home match at the Allianz Arena, including accommodation.
The grand prize includes:
- a new Google Pixel smartphone,
- two tickets for the winner of an individual entry, or up to three tickets for a winning team of three,
- an exclusive stadium tour on matchday,
- one night’s accommodation per person.
Why should you take part?
FC Bayern Fan AI-DEATION gives you the opportunity to:
- share your idea directly with FC Bayern and receive valuable feedback from experts and AI specialists,
- make new connections with fans, creatives and innovation enthusiasts from around the world,
- potentially help kick-start a future pilot project at FC Bayern.
You don’t need to have developed a finished technology. A compelling idea, a clear use case and an easy-to-understand description are all you need to get started.
