When starts my membership?
Your membership starts after the first payment respective your membership fee. At the beginning of the membership, we charge an annual membership fee for members with the date of entry on July 1 a yearly subscription, for members with date of joining January 1 whereas 1,5 yearly subscription.
Can I transfer my membership to another person?
No, you can’t. Your membership is personal and existing memberships cannot be transferred to another person.
What are the membership fees?
Full membership for adults aged from 26 up to and including 64 costs 60 € per season. A concessionary fee of 30 € per season applies for children and teenagers up to the age of 17, senior citizens aged 65 and over and registered disabled persons. Young adults aged from 18 up to and including 25 pay a discounted annual fee of 40 €. Every member pays a joining fee of 3 €.
If you cancel the print edition of the FC BAYERN MAGAZIN "51" per mail your membership fee is reduced by 10 € per season.
Please note that the reference day for all aforementioned ages is July 1 (start of season).
Is there a minimum age for becoming a member?
No. Children can be registered as members of our club from the day they are born.
Is there a family membership scheme?
No, we only offer individual memberships. Furthermore, membership is exclusively restricted to actual individual persons, i.e. no animals or companies.
Why have I stopped receiving the FC BAYERN MAGAZIN "51" after the first issue of the season?
The first club magazine of a season will be sent automatically without payment of the membership fee. From the secondon edition onwards, the club magazine will only be accepted if the membership fee has been paid in full.
Do you send the FC BAYERN MAGAZIN "51" free of charge to overseas (non-German) addresses?
Yes, generally, the FC BAYERN MAGAZIN "51" is send for free to our members once a month. To provide our members all over the world with exciting articles, reports and news all around the club, it is possible to access the e-paper of FC BAYERN MAGAZIN "51" online - independent of the print subscription.
If a member wants to cancel the print subscription, the delivery can be stopped temporary during the current season (without reduced membership fee) or can be terminated at the end of the current season (lowering membership fee for the next season).
I’ve arranged mail forwarding but I’m not receiving the FC BAYERN MAGAZIN "51". Why?
In Germany, the post office mail forwarding service does not apply to magazines. Please inform us in good time if you are changing address. In other countries, please contact your local post office to determine arrangements for mail forwarding.
How can I give a membership as a gift?
You may purchase a membership gift voucher for this very purpose. If you want the new member to receive his/her membership card directly, we require the recipient’s signature (or the signature of a parent or legal guardian in the case of minors) on the membership application form also when the giver pay the subscription. If you want to surprise someone with the membership you still have the possibility to purchase a gift voucher together with the participation form.
How can I pay for a gift voucher?
You can pay for a gift voucher by crossed cheque, cash via recorded delivery or by credit card. We are sorry, but we cannot accept payment by direct debit or bank transfer.
Where is the gift voucher for a membership available?
You can send an email to mitglieder@fcbayern.com and request for a gift voucher for a membership in our service center. Also, you can get a gift voucher locally in our service center in Munich (Säbener Straße 51-57).
Please notice that the special gift voucher for our membership is not available in our fan shops and you can’t use it for shopping fan stuff.
Does being a member guarantee me match tickets?
Members get preferred for getting tickets. At the moment FC Bayern have over 290,000 registered members and for our club it is not possible to get every member to warrant tickets. To offer as possible as much members to witness our team live in the Allianz Arena we subject to a quota maximum two tickets per member when the home match is overbooked. By an away match you also can get maximum two tickets per successfully order.
Can I become a member of the club during the season?
You can become a member at any time during the season, but your formal acceptance as a member of the club will be on July 1 or January 1.
Currently you can become a member on July 1, 2019.
How do I cancel my membership?
Membership may only be cancelled after a period of at least 12 months on June 30 each year. Notice of cancellation must be submitted to the club in writing or in electronic or text form by April 30 at the latest. Please always provide your customer and/or membership number.
Do new members receive a welcome gift?
Yes, new members receive a welcome gift along with their membership card.
Do I receive a gift for becoming a member?
Unfortunately, we do not offer any gifts for becoming a member at the moment.
