Munich is the home of FC Bayern, but the fans are spread all over the world. There are 538 official international fan clubs in 106 countries, representing over 44,750 fan club members.
In order to maintain direct contact with our fans around the world, we now have four international representative offices. Following the opening of the first office outside Germany in New York in 2014, the second was opened in Shanghai in 2017 and the third in Bangkok in 2022. Since 2025, the company has also been represented in Seoul.
Audi Summer Tour
FC Bayern Munich visited fans in Asia as part of the Audi Summer Tour 2024, travelling to South Korea for the first time. As part of the "Coupang Play Series 2024" in cooperation with Audi, the German record champions played a match against Tottenham Hotspur at the World Cup Stadium in the capital city of Seoul. In addition to the fan zone at the stadium, 300 fans from South East Asia were able to visit the Paulaner fan event with Legend Meet&Greet at the SJ Kunsthalle, watch the team's public training session or play against Giovane Élber and Claudio Pizarro in the Legend Fan Match. At the end of April 2025, 175 FC Bayern fans from 13 countries, from Southeast Asia to China, set off for Munich to experience unforgettable days filled with culture, history, and soccer: 175 fans, one dream – a trip to Munich.
Fan club meetings overseas
In spring 2024, the first fan club meeting outside Germany took place. It took place in the Rockefeller Centre in the new New York office. It's planned to organize international fan club meetings in other parts of the world as well, in order to intensify and develop personal relationships with fan clubs around the world and to strengthen the loyalty of fans to FC Bayern in the long term.
The second international fan club meeting took place in Charlotte in June 2025 as part of the FIFA Club World Cup. Twenty-two fan club presidents from ten official fan clubs in the US and Canada met at The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery & Biergarten to exchange ideas with the US office of FC Bayern in New York and the fan management team from Munich: Regional fan club meeting in Charlotte: Celebrating together, growing together
FIFA Club World Cup 2025
