Thomas Müller only graduated to the senior squad over the summer, but the 19-year-old has exploded off the blocks, appearing in all five competitive fixtures so far, including the full 90 minutes of the 3-0 victory over Wolfsburg.

…his stellar ascent at the club: “I always believed I had a chance, but even I didn’t expect to be playing such an important role so early. I felt more and more able to cope as pre-season went on, and I began to see the possibilities. I feel very much at home in the team.“
…his best position: “The coach has to decide that. I’m just delighted when I play, and I’m very flexible. It’s up to the coach where I then play. I’m comfortable in every position.“
