Bayern President Uli Hoeneß is the new FC Bayern München AG supervisory board chairman. At Thursday’s constituent meeting of the new supervisory board in Munich, the 58-year-old was elected to succeed Franz Beckenbauer in the position.
The meeting also elected Herbert Hainer (55), adidas AG chairman, and Rupert Stadler (46), Audi AG chairman, as Hoeneß’s vice-chairmen.
Karl Hopfner, previously an executive board member, was named FC Bayern München AG executive board vice-chairman by the supervisory board.
