Not much more than a week before Christmas, a dream came true for 44 kids from the Erich-Kästner children’s village in Oberschwarzach in Franconia, when the mixed group aged between six and 19 years of age visited Bayern’s Säbener Strasse facility on Thursday. The event was part of the “Kids’ wishes” programme organised by the Sternstunden charity for children in need.

The kids and their 11 helpers made light of the wintry 300 kilometre trip to the Säbener Strasse in time for first-team training. Autobus Oberbayern GmbH transported the group safely and securely to Munich and back again with the FCB Fan Bus.
