Lay-off for Brazilian

Injury returns to haunt unlucky Breno

FCB centre-back Breno has again been forced to the sidelines with injury. Surgeons removed part of the inflamed membrane, which could no longer be treated without an operation.

The surgical procedure was performed by Dr. Ulrich Boenisch at Hessingpark Hospital in Augsburg. “We’ll announce a reliable estimate of the length of Breno’s lay-off at a later date,” FCB chief medical officer Dr. Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt informed
