Pizarro fired by latest return to Bremen

It's technically an away fixture for Bayern, but Claudio Pizarro is guaranteed a warm reception when he steps out at the Weser stadium on Saturday. The striker spent six seasons with Werder Bremen, and is the fourth-highest scorer in the northern club's history with 89 goals in 159 league appearances. On Saturday, he returns to his former stamping ground with FCB, and will receive an official farewell from the home team prior to kick-off.

In fact, it isn't Claudio’s first return visit to Bremen with a rival club. He left Werder for Munich for the first time back in 2001, and has scored three times in 11 games for FCB against his ex-club. “I've done it before," he said ahead of the latest trip to Weser stadium with the Bavarians. His second switch from the northern giants to their southern counterparts took place just a couple of months ago.
