The important thing in games like that is to win.“ Franck Ribéry echoed the boss’s comments: “Sometimes you have an off day, but the important thing is the three points.“

Jupp Heynckes: “Winning is what matters when you get a game like that. We ground out the win today, we didn’t play particularly well. But my team battled away and at the end of the day, we fought our way to a deserved victory. You could see we weren’t enjoying it as much as normal and weren’t as prepared to run. Sometimes you have to be satisfied with that kind of performance. The important thing in games like that is to win.“
