FCB go into crunch final with ‘a good feeling’

Typical, some might say: it rained, it rained, and it rained some more on Friday, the day the two Champions League finalists arrived in London for Saturday’s all-German showdown. However, in the dry warmth of the Wembley media centre, the excitement and tension was tangible as Philipp Lahm and Thomas Müller took questions from more than 250 reporters and TV crews from all over the world.

As it happened, the media men and women were forced to wait a little longer than expected, as the notorious London rush-hour made no concessions to FC Bayern and caused a delay in the team's arrival at the stadium from their city centre hotel. At around 5 pm local time, Lahm and Müller were in position, and the press conference started. The pair were extraordinarily relaxed, but clearly buzzing with intent and anticipation.
