Two days prior to the eagerly-awaited showdown with Dortmund at Wembley, Champions League final fever has gripped the Bayern camp. “We all want to go to London and get the game started," said Bastian Schweinsteiger on Thursday lunchtime, around 56 hours prior to kick-off. “You sense the focus in the squad," reported the club vice-captain, “it's entirely up to us whether we win or not."
Shortly before Schweinsteiger faced the press, the players were put through their paces in Munich for the last time. Jupp Heynckes ordered his men to practice a variety of attacking plays and set pieces. The next and last workout before the match is at Wembley on Friday evening, “and that's when we'll really work on building up positive tension," the boss revealed.
