It's a season of the superlatives at Bayern, who won the Bundesliga in record time, finished on a new record points total, conceded the fewest goals in league history, recorded the highest number of wins, and so much more. The crowning glory of this exceptional season came in London on Saturday with the 2-1 victory over Dortmund in a fantastic UEFA Champions League final.
This record-breaking season has generated unprecedented joy and elation, and the players would now like to share their delight with their loyal fans one more time. To that end, Jupp Heynckes, Phillip Lahm, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Co will parade through the streets of Munich in an open-top bus next Sunday, the day after the DFB Cup final in Berlin.
The bus will set off at 2.30 pm from Münchner Freiheit, travelling via Ludwigstrasse, Dienerstrasse and Landschaftsstrasse to Marienplatz, where Mayor Christian Ude will receive the team on the Town Hall balcony at approximately 4 pm.
To entertain fans who’d like to wait in Marienplatz beforehand, the party in the square begins at around 3 pm with music acts, a DJ and a great atmosphere!
