FCB unbeaten at home against Freiburg

It's a fair bet SC Freiburg would prefer to avoid visiting the Bavarian state capital – at least from a footballing perspective. The FCB record at home to Freiburg is almost perfect: The Reds have won twelve times and drawn twice, with no defeats. And the overall record (home and away fixtures) reflects Bayern's superiority. FCB have recorded 20 wins in 29 meetings and the other nine matches ended in six draws and only three defeats. The last time Freiburg came out on top was a 3-1 win almost 18 years ago in March 1996.

Impressive run

Bayern have won all twelve of their last Bundesliga games. The record for a complete season is 15 wins on the trot, set by Bayern in 2005. FCB have also won the last 18 league fixtures at the Allianz Arena. Gladbach were the last Bundesliga side to take a point in Munich in a 1-1 draw on 14 December 2012.

Winkmann the man in the middle

Guido Winkmann will referee Saturday's match. The 40-year-old police officer last refereed a Bayern game in the 9-2 thrashing of Hamburg in March 2013. FCB have won all six games with Winkmann in charge of proceedings. The referee's assistants are Christian Bandurski (Essen) and Guido Kleve (Cologne), the fourth official is Dr. Jochen Drees (Münster).
