FC Bayern and Telekom launched ‘Fan Voices’ in early February, calling on fans, players and officials to sing along to the club’s famous anthem Stern des Südens.
At last week’s home Bundesliga meeting with Schalke 04, it wasn’t only the final score that provided music to Bayern fans’ ears – it was also the first freshly compiled singalong version of Stern des Südens. Listen for yourself!
We’ll cut together a new version featuring the best fan voices for every home match. And the fans are the stars, because the videos will be shown in full length on the Allianz Arena video walls – and to the whole world via the internet.
You can be on the next version too, singing side by side with the FCB stars and fellow fans! All you need is a camera-equipped computer, tablet or smartphone and an internet connection. Go to the Fan Voices page or look up Fan Voices in the official FCB app and record your video!
Here’s a helpful tip: Almost everyone sings the chorus, so if that’s all you do it drastically reduces your chances of being featured in the video clip. Tune up your vocal chords and ideally sing the whole song! Enjoy!
