Pep Guardiola gave his players the day off on Wednesday, but a number of stars reported to headquarters in any case. The group included Thiago, Xherdan Shaqiri, Holger Badstuber and Julian Green, who all continued sports rehab programmes at the Säbener Strasse facility. Thiago and Green performed running and gymnastic drills under the supervision of Lorenzo Buenaventura and Thomas Wilhelmi, with Shaqiri completing a few laps of the site. Holger Badstuber continued working towards a long-awaited comeback with Andreas Kornmeyer. Elsewhere Mario Götze, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Mitchell Weiser and young keeper Leopold Zingerle put in an extra training shift featuring plenty of work on the ball.
Invitation to Extraordinary General Meeting
As required by club statutes FC Bayern München eV invites its members to an Extraordinary General Meeting on Friday 2 May at 7 pm in the Audi Dome. The agenda comprises an election for a new president and a vote to confirm the executive committee members proposed by the advisory board. Invitations to the meeting have been sent to members via the Bayern Magazin within the prescribed period. The invitation can also be accessed online.
