Guardiola delivers the shield

Proud Pierre: Call-up is for Papa

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg says he is “very proud” after a maiden call-up to the Danish senior national team. “It’s a new chapter in my career,” the midfielder told, “my dad always dreamed I’d be called up to the national team one day. I’m dedicating the call-up to him.“ Hojbjerg’s father passed away recently.
