FCB primed for Allianz Team Presentation

There is another highlight in store for everyone at Bayern just two days after the stars return from the USA, because the 2014/15 squad will be unveiled to the fans on Saturday 9 August at the Allianz FC Bayern Team Presentation 2014. Due to soaring demand, the event at the world-famous Allianz Arena is already a sell-out!

A great entertainment programme awaits spectators, kicking off at 2 pm with a family celebration on the esplanade. Test your skills by having a go at numerous interactive activities organised by the Allianz Fan Center, among them the Audi high jump and the Disney stand, or alternatively enjoy the Cinema Roadshow from Lego. The Paulaner Biergarten, the FCB Megastore and the World of Adventure also open their doors at 2 pm.

Every visitor receives an "Allianz FC Bayern Team Presentation" scarf as a welcome gift. All you need to do is present your ticket at the distribution points. You can also have a souvenir photo taken with the whole family using the on-site photo tool.

FCB All-Stars face Man Utd Legends

The main event, hosted by stadium announcer Stephan Lehmann, starts at 4 pm. The first-team players will be individually introduced to the crowd, with pride of place reserved for FCB’s six World Cup winners and the trio of summer signings, namely Robert Lewandowski, Sebastian Rode and Juan Bernat. After the squad unveiling, head coach Pep Guardiola will supervise his men in a demonstration training session.

A sporting spectacle beckons after the workout when Bayern Munich brand ambassador and 1974 World Cup winner Paul Breitner leads the FC Bayern All-Stars against the Manchester United Legends. Former big-name pros including Paul Scholes, Dwight Yorke, Owen Hargreaves, Paulo Sérgio and Mark van Bommel will be taking a break from retirement and team up for this unique clash.

Proceeds to charity

Allianz is particularly keen for families to enjoy their time at the stadium. For this purpose the Allianz Family Entrance allows quick and relaxed admission into the stadium for the whole family. What's more, the "Arena Bistro" will offer discounted family menus between 2 and 6 pm. To assist families with children, elderly people and guests with restricted mobility, two Allianz shuttle buses will operate throughout the afternoon. Please refrain from bringing  prams and pushchairs if at all possible, since these are not allowed inside the stadium.

By choosing to attend the event every fan also contributes to a good cause, as all proceeds from ticket sales go to an Allianz foundation for children. Every year Allianz, its employees and agents around Germany support more than 200 regional projects for children and young people in need.

For a spine-tingling foretaste of the big event, watch our video trailer on YouTube or via FCB.tv, the club’s premium TV channel!

How to get there: due to engineering work on the U6 Underground/Light Rail line, replacement shuttle buses will be in operation. Visit the Munich transportation authority (MVG) website for more information.
