Thiago is continuing to work on his comeback. And: Rafinha and Mitchell Weiser trained with rehab coach Thomas Wilhelmi including some ball work. The duo are set to return to full training. Bastian Schweinsteiger is still working in the performance centre.
Bernat sits out U-21 draw
Juan Bernat remained on the bench on Tuesday night as the Spain U-21s drew 1-1 with Austria. It was the first point dropped by the Spaniards in the last qualifier for the 2015 U-21 European Championship in the Czech Republic. Spain had already qualified for the play-offs as group winners so they did not field their strongest eleven in Puertollano. Pablo Sarabia put the hosts in front on 50 minutes but Michael Gregoritsch levelled five minutes into added time for Austria, who finished second in the group. However, they are not among the four best group runners-up and miss out on a play-off place.
