There was no officially scheduled training session on Thursday but a number of players still trekked to the Säbener Strasse HQ and practice ground - Claudio Pizarro for one following his return in the morning after duty with the Peru national team. Xherdan Shaqiri and Medhi Benatia were out in the open air pursuing individual routines. Robert Lewandowski pounded out the distance on the Ergometer before a spell of massage and treatment, where he was joined by Franck Ribéry. All the currently injured players were present at headquarters, with Bastian Schweinsteiger completing a session of aqua-jogging under the watchful eye of fitness trainer Holger Broich.
