Shaqiri signs for Inter
Xherdan Shaqiri completed his switch from FC Bayern to Inter Milan late on Friday evening. After successfully passing a medical, the Swiss star inked a deal keeping him in northern Italy until 30 June 2019, Inter announced via their official homepage. Bayern and I Nerazzurri agreed the terms of the transfer on Thursday. Shaqiri is set for an immediate debut against CFC Genoa on Sunday.

The Aspire Academy for Sports Excellence is once again providing FC Bayern with optimal training conditions at this year’s Volkswagen Camp Qatar. “We’re very proud that clubs like Bayern choose to come here,” commented Qatar national team executive director Mansoor Al-Ansari. The Reds are spending the mid-season training period in Doha for the fifth time. Al-Ansari is looking forward to the friendly between the visitors from Munich and a Qatar Stars League XI on Tuesday evening: “It’s a great experience for us and a fantastic opportunity to show what Qatari football has to offer.”
