After Bayern's squad workout on Friday morning at the Aspire Academy, a dream came true for some 40 Qatari kids: FCB boss Pep Guardiola took the pupils under his wing and led a short training session, in which the Spaniard himself took part at regular intervals. Afterwards, the kids were invited to take on keeper Manuel Neuer from the penalty spot. A handful of the young hopefuls even came away with the proud boast of having put one past the world's best keeper.

Early leave for Reina

Pepe Reina's stay at the Volkswagen Camp Qatar 2015 has come to a slightly early end. The keeper left Doha on Friday for Spain, where his wife Yolanda gave birth to the couple's fifth child in the early hours of Thursday morning. Coach Pep Guardiola awarded his backup keeper a brief period of leave to visit his family, but Pepe is expected back in Munich at the beginning of next week and will resume training at the Säbener Strasse facility.
