Dreams came true for a handful of lucky FC Bayern fans on Saturday afternoon when they met their idols in person as part of the traditional annual programme of fan club visits. Straight after morning training, the players, boss Pep Guardiola, chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and sporting director Matthias Sammer set off to meet the selected supporters' groups. To take one example, Xabi Alonso (pictured) travelled to Langenpreising, a small community to the north-east of Munich. We'll be reporting on the visits on Monday on the club's official YouTube channel!

Neuer and Gerland not at training

Manuel Neuer and Hermann Gerland were absent from the Säbener Strasse on Saturday, as the pair remained in the Ruhr Valley region following the friendly victory over VfL Bochum and set off for their fan club visits from there. The rest of the squad completed a session of regeneration drills on Saturday morning. Sunday is a day off before Guardiola and his men return to work on Monday and begin focused preparations for next Friday's Bundesliga restart fixture away to Wolfsburg.
