Udo Lattek’s career and honours

With eight German championship triumphs to his name, Udo Lattek is the most successful Bundesliga coach since the modern top flight’s introduction in 1963. He is followed in second place by Ottmar Hitzfeld with seven, and Hennes Weisweiler and Jupp Heynckes on four apiece. In the course of his career Lattek won 15 trophies. Alongside Giovanni Trapattoni he is the only coach to win all three major European club competitions.
