"The best in close-up" is the motto of the Audi Cup, a four-game tournament involving a quartet of top international clubs at the Allianz Arena in Munich on 4 and 5 August 2015. The first confirmed contenders are FC Bayern and Spanish giants Real Madrid. Tickets are available now at and starting at €20 for one day.

The biannual tournament, launched in 2009 to mark the Audi brand's 100th anniversary and now into its fourth edition, has fast become an essential fixture in the pre-season programme of the world's best clubs. Real Madrid are competing for the first time, with the remaining teams to be finalised immediately after the end of the European season in early June.

The tried and trusted format remains unchanged with the two semi-finals on Tuesday 4 August, and the third-place play-off and final on Wednesday 5 August. The kick-offs on both days are at 18.15 and 20.45 CET. Spectators at the Allianz Arena will see all four cubs on each of the two days. The winners go home with the prestigious 60 cm tall cup, crafted by Audi from aluminium.

Arjen Robben, Mario Götze, Manuel Neuer, Toni Kroos, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Sergio Ramos and Iker Casillas are just a few of the big-name stars featuring for the two confirmed clubs, once again underlining the Audi Cup motto, "The best in close-up".
