There are still a few weeks to go before the action starts up again in earnest, but the fans are already fired up and yearning for the new 2015/16 season. At Saturday’s Allianz FC Bayern Team Presentation the entire FCB squad, including the new signings and current internationals, will train together for the first time in front of a crowd in excess of 70,000 at the Allianz Arena! For those in Munich, a few tickets are still available from the ServiceCenter at the Säbener Strasse or on Saturday from 10 am at the Arena.
New signing Douglas Costa will make his first appearance in the famous red shirt at the Allianz Arena, as will youthful talent Joshua Kimmich. They will be joined by the club’s current full internationals who officially return from vacation this weekend: Bastian Schweinsteiger, Manuel Neuer, Mario Götze, Jérôme Boateng, Robert Lewandowski, Mehdi Benatia, Juan Bernat and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
All-Stars versus Inter Forever
The event starts at 13.00 CET with the family festival on the Esplanade. The first highlight in the stadium is the team presentation at 15.00 followed by a demonstration training session supervised by Pep Guardiola from approximately 16.00 (live on the FC Bayern YouTube channel with English commentary).
The event concludes with the meeting between the FCB All-Stars and Inter Forever, the Inter Milan veterans’ team. The kick-off is at 17.45. Legends such as Roy Maakay and Paulo Sergio will be joined on this occasion by Andreas Brehme, the 1990 World Cup winner who will appear for both his former clubs. Northern Italian giants Inter have sent a strong squad including the likes of Patrick Vieira and Dino Baggio.
