The FC Bayern stars have been back in training in advance of the new season for a week now. Before the club's current internationals formally rejoin the squad at Saturday's Allianz Team Presentation, Pep Guardiola exclusively reviewed the current situation with "This is a good spell with very little stress. We've made a very good start and the players are training very well."

Guardiola also offered his thoughts on new signing Douglas Costa. "We needed a player with quality in the one-on-one situations," the boss explained, and Costa is the ideal choice. "He's young but he's played in the Champions League in recent years, and he's in the Brazil team these days. We're all convinced by him."

Guardiola also touched on personal matters and had nothing but praise for life in Munich. "Coaching is my job, but I'm a normal person. I need contact to other people in the city and in the restaurants. I love that," said the 44-year-old, "the people here are amazing and it's wonderful."
