Neuer receives Best Keeper award

Manuel Neuer was voted the World's Best Goalkeeper back in January, and the Bayern number one received the golden trophy from the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) prior to the Audi Cup meeting with AC Milan. Neuer (216 points) comfortably won the annual poll from Thibaut Courtois (Atlético Madrid/Chelsea, 96 points) and Keylor Navas (Levante/Real Madrid, 46 points).

Cup draw at the Allianz Arena

The draw for the second round of the DFB Cup will be held at the Allianz Arena following the opening match of the 53rd Bundesliga season between FC Bayern and Hamburger SV on 14 August. The ceremony forms part of the ARD-Sportschau Club post-match TV show and will start at approximately 22:45 CET. Ski star Felix Neureuther will make the draw itself, supervised by DFB President Wolfgang Niersbach. The second round ties will be played on 27 and 28 October.
